The Turning Point: The Night Drift Sent the Invoice
In 2018, drift nearly ended me. On paper, I looked successful. In reality, I was fractured, ashamed, and collapsing. Anger ruled me. I was charged, I relapsed, and one night, I pulled the trigger twice. Nothing fired. That wasn’t “rock bottom.” That was drift collecting its invoice.
Days later, space was created for me in a men’s circle. That night kept me alive. But survival wasn’t enough. Months later, in 2019, I stood in court facing prison for breaching old orders. I was lucky. The right people stood in my corner. I walked free, but I walked out a broken man, carrying the weight of a mission I didn’t yet fully understand.
That mission became clear: to redeem my actions, reclaim my identity, and rise into the leader I was called to be.
I started small — volunteering, mentoring men in local prisons. In 2020, I founded Second Chance Man to share my story. And in 2025, with deeper clarity, I launched Next Level Coaching and the ARETE Method™.
Now, my work is simple: I help leaders kill drift, reset identity, and build legacies that last.
